In Support of the Rohingya Culture Center’s
Home-based English Literacy Program
The Rohingya Culture Center is a community based social service organization aimed at serving the needs of the Rohingya refugee population in Chicago. To that end, the Home-based English Literacy Program or H. E. L. P. was established to provide in-home English education to members of the Rohingya community who would not otherwise be able to attend English classes. Our volunteer English tutors will be paired with a childcare volunteer that will watch over and entertain the children of our participants during all English lessons.
